The American Bar Association held its Spring Meeting in Austin, Texas May 9-10, 2019. They invited Levy Craig Shareholder Shane Mecham to present a paper on “Tackling Defective Work.”  Shane is a frequent author and speaker on surety issues. This presentation focused on how sureties should deal with latent and patent defects present in public construction projects that sureties take over.
