Skilled drafting and document review are foundational to successful real estate transactions. But Andrew learned early in his career that other proficiencies, often associated with litigation work, give him an edge in real estate law.

“There’s sometimes a perception that legal advocacy is reserved for litigation,” he said. “But spotting the places in documents and the moments in negotiations where I can push to have language interpreted in my client’s favor is one of the ways I get the best deal possible.”

Andrew has extensive experience throughout the United States involving complex negotiations with multiple Fortune 100 companies, real estate investment trusts and governmental entities. Clients rely on his strength in acquisitions, contractual disputes, leasing and dispositions.

Andrew’s advocacy mindset was critical to the successful result he achieved for a Fortune 100 company in a real estate contract dispute. The landlord in that case attempted to get Andrew’s client to pay a property rights rate based on a national scale. Had the landlord won, it could have signaled that the client was willing to pay similar rates nationwide. Instead, Andrew negotiated the compensation based on the local scale, saving the client millions.

“All clients want to know someone is fighting for them,” Andrew said. “I’m a firm believer that superior real estate work demands consistent advocacy and persuasiveness on behalf of clients.”
