Working in Real Estate Law and Corporate Law gives me the opportunity to facilitate growth and innovation. I enjoy helping clients structure new deals, state businesses and navigate complex transactions, as it allows me to contribute directly to their success. The intellectual challenge of drafting contracts, along with solving unique legal issues, is highly rewarding. Additionally, I appreciate the dynamic nature of this field, where each day brings something new and allows me to work on diverse projects at various stages of development.

I like to bring a fresh perspective. By acquiring both a J.D. and an M.B.A., I give my clients an advantage by viewing them from both a legal and business perspective.
Career Achievements
While working in the transactional clinic as a student attorney for Drake University Law School, I was able to assist two clients who wanted to start a nonprofit social bar. Though they were very deserving and had the best intentions, they had applied for nonprofit status before and had been rejected. I was able to work with them and reapply. Ultimately, they were approved, allowing them to buy a building and start their social sober bar, as well as hold several life classes for the community. Being able to assist them in following their dream of opening up KC Willies was truly rewarding.
