Scott Seitter, a shareholder with Levy Craig, P.C., was named 2009 Lawyer’s Lawyer Legal Leader by The Kansas City Daily Record and Missouri Lawyers Weekly. He was chosen for the award by a group of his peers because of his untiring dedication to public service within his community.

An awards reception and luncheon was held on March 27, 2009, where prominent attorneys, judges, politicians and business leaders joined to celebrate the Legal Leaders of 2009 who have improved the quality of justice in their communities and exemplified the highest ideals of the legal profession.

Scott Seitter, who focuses his practice on tax planning and controversies, real estate, complex transactions and financing, joined Levy Craig in 1983. Seitter was certified as a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Professional in 2008. In addition to membership in several local and national bar associations, he is a past board member of Swope Parkway Health Center and has served as an advisory member of Solace House since 2002. He has been a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City for 22 years, and served as Director and past president of The Ronald McDonald House Charities. Seitter earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Washburn University and completed his law degree at Washington University in St. Louis.
