Counsel steeped in firsthand experience. That’s Larry’s edge. This highly skilled fidelity and surety attorney also is a licensed professional engineer who worked on construction projects around the United States before he went on to pass the first of two state bar examinations.

During the early part of Larry’s career, he worked as a tunnel engineer for Peter Kiewit Sons’ Company, where he contributed to projects throughout the United States, including the Eisenhower Memorial Tunnel on Interstate 70 in Colorado. Now, instead of building infrastructure, Larry uses his engineering experience to build relationships with and provide legal counsel to a loyal following of fidelity, surety and construction clients. It’s his ability to immediately understand a problem and identify solutions that attracts them – no learning curve required.

Larry, who maintains his certification as a licensed professional engineer in Colorado, joined Levy & Craig in 1996 and specializes in construction, fidelity and surety law. He serves such clients as Allied Insurance Company, the Cincinnati Insurance Company, Old Republic Surety Company, State Farm Fire and Casualty Company and Lithko Contracting, Inc.

In addition, Larry has appeared in U.S. District Court, state court, and agency and administrative forums of 14 states and the District of Columbia representing clients in contract surety, commercial bonds and construction law matters. He also has represented sureties, contractors, owners and design professionals in complex construction claims involving contract defaults, takeovers, relets, changes, changed conditions, modifications and delays.
