The Levy Craig Law Firm, P.C. elected Jason S. Leiker as its newest shareholder.  He joined the law firm in 2015 after practicing for nearly a decade with mid-sized Kansas City defense firms.  Leiker represents Kansas City-based industry leaders in full-service, digital printing; aviation salvage and re-sale; manufacturing of state-of-the-art slicing solutions for the meat and cheese industry; and commercial real estate development, design and construction.  He is panel counsel for a specialty line of insurance and also specializes in guiding companies and employees through difficult employment related issues and disputes.  Leiker has served as first-chair on both the plaintiff and defense side of highly contested employment lawsuits involving Fortune 100 companies.  In addition to his institutional clients, he represents plaintiffs who have been injured or whose rights have been violated.  In 2016, Leiker secured the 51st largest plaintiff’s verdict or settlement in Missouri, recovering $1,250,000 for his client in an underinsured motorist claim, without even filing a lawsuit.  Leiker also recovered for his client four times the client’s annual wages as a result of his employer’s wrongful termination while the client was out on FMLA leave.  Mr. Leiker takes pride in serving the community.  He serves as the Secretary on the Board of Directors of the ALS Mid-America Chapter and formerly served on the Executive Board of Metro United Soccer Club, which is the second largest soccer club in Kansas.  He has successfully completed the KCMBA Bar Leadership Academy, the Ross T Roberts Inn of Court, and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers Trial Academy.  Most important to Mr. Leiker is his family.  With his wife Shawna, he enthusiastically raises his two sons, Max and Vitaly.
