Shane frequently is the lawyer clients turn to when they have business disputes that are headed toward or have resulted in litigation. It’s a role he relishes, he says, because of his inclination to confront complex issues and merge creative solutions with solid legal thinking to resolve clients’ thorniest problems.
“I thrive on clients counting on me in critical situations,” Shane said. “It is rewarding to win a result that exceeds clients’ expectations.”
Shane joined Levy Craig in 2010, after working previously at a large Kansas City, Mo., law firm. He has been a part of successful trial teams in state and federal courts in Missouri and Kansas, and has drafted appellate briefs to the Kansas Supreme Court, the Missouri Western District Court of Appeals and the Tenth Circuit. Shane has developed particular expertise in handling insurance issues, a skill honed through experience that spans from representing individuals in personal cases to representing Fortune 100 corporations in national litigation.
Based on that experience, he says, “Today I treat every case with a unique combination of personal attention and sophisticated legal analysis.”
