Robert Pitkin Named Among Best Lawyers in America
Robert Pitkin, shareholder with Levy and Craig, P.C., has been named to the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Pitkin, Levy and Craig’s president, focuses his practice in construction and business litigation.
Established in 1983, The Best Lawyers in America has been widely regarded as the pre-eminent guide to legal excellence in the United States. The Best Lawyers lists, representing 80 specialties in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., are compiled through an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 25,000 of the top U.S. lawyers confidentially evaluate professional peers in their specialties.
Because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers has become a highly respected attorney referral list for the legal profession, media and clients.
Pitkin also has been named to the Super Lawyers guide since it was first published in 2005. He was elected as 2007 chairman of the board for The Heart of America Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, the pre-eminent trade association for merit shop contractors, and was named “Best of the Bar” the Kansas City Business Journal in 2003. Pitkin is a graduate of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurions program and earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.
